@VampireofEpicness In the video, Divine Avalanche -> Gambler's Cut -> Sting of the Wasp -> Gambler's Cut. This was done to reduce endurance consumption and save a power pick.
In my current build, now that Cardiac takes care of my endurance, I'm running what I'd consider the standard defensive chain, Divine Avalanche -> Gambler's Cut -> Golden Dragonfly -> Gambler's Cut -> Divine Avalanche -> Gambler's Cut -> Soaring Dragon -> Gambler's Cut.
@matridusXraishi Without knowing more about what you're after and what primary you'd be using, Regeneration and Dark Armor are equally good. The secondaries are all nicely balanced after this many years, just different strengths and weaknesses.
Hi! Long-time squishy controller fan here, looking to "convert" to Scrapping, haha. This video is freakin' amazing. It makes me want to roll a Scrapper right NOW... too bad I'm at work. :(
I've got a couple of quick questions... first off, how is /DA on endurance? Is it a heavy end build? I understand that when you IO up endurance means nothing, but how's that climb to 50 on Endurance?
Second, where does Claws fit in on the DPS scale? Thanks for any help!
@rklamer Dark Armor is notoriously heavy on endurance. It's manageable while leveling, but it's still difficult, and that's if you already know all about how to manage your endurance.
Claws does middle of the road DPS, but it also has ranged and AoE attacks, which is nice.
Love your movies, great job! But I do have one question for you, can one get BS/DM to work just as well as a Kat/DM? I mean I know once Kat gets I.Os under it's belt it blows BS out the water, but I never hear anyone talk about how BS is I.Oed out.
Yes, Broad Sword/Dark can pretty much work just as well. The survivability will be equal, just a little lower DPS, but nothing earth shaking. Katana doesn't blow Broad Sword out of the water, it's just a little better for sustained DPS.
What you're after for this sort of thing is layered mitigation - defense, resistance and/or hit points, healing and/or regeneration. Dark Armor gives you very solid resistance and one of the best self-heals around. It also gives you a tiny little defensive power (Cloak of Darkness) which does almost nothing on its own. But add in Divine Avalanche, some pool powers, and a metric ton of +defense bonuses, and you can soft-cap your positional defenses. That's the key that makes this possible.
I feel a little silly posting to my own video, but kijin7777, I wanted you to know that I didn't delete your comment. I reposted the video with a little added footage at the end but under the same name, which of course means that all the views and your comment went away. Sorry about that.
What's your attack chain?

wow nice job 11 avs sure is an achievement.
What katana are you using its freaking awesome and where can i get it?
GinZen1 1 year ago
@GinZen1 Well, it used to be called the Talsorian Katana. Now it's called the Vanguard Katana. It costs 100 Vanguard merits to unlock it.

@WernerCoH oh thanks been wondering what it looks like im trying to get it but not at 35 yet so can't do any rwz missions :(

@WernerCoH Ah! thanks very much for the info! With that said I am so off to start on this character/new project!

This was impressive, good work. Where is /Dark getting its utility from? It doesn't seem very strong in any particular area.

Ah right, so it works out like /SR with a heal and some other fun tricks built in? Might be worth taking a look, thanks.
