When you realize that that lying piece of trash's own brother (prosecutor) deals drugs from his own house and enjoys protection from raids because his brother is also the state attorney general you begin to realize why the WAR ON DRUGS is a losing battle: it's not about the prohibition but the centering of profits. Isn't it great to know that Kentucky will probably elect a drug lord into office as senator? Why move to Mexico?
I love it when these hypocritical libs to attack someone's personal life. If Conway had smoked weed and assraped a baby you would see progressive asslicks telling us how intelligent and deep he is. Conway = fucking failure.
What about the people that are in prisons and still faceing charges from this Bull shit ? seky was attacked by the Church and the police even parts of the national guards....war against the Citizens guns was not being fired, bombs were not being droped,it was no cival unrest it was a social geneside of sick poverty stricken people I hope charges is pressed against the head leaders of Unite and they have to serve time in jail , or the people that was harmed by this sues , but some are dead .
The only around here who doesn't get it is Jack Conway. Of course he's gonna suggest we keep the drug war going! He's the fucking Attorney General! He's all caught up in that ridiculous big gov't state of mind. He doesn't believe in personal freedom on so many moral issues because they're "crimes", like drugs or prostitution.
Conway is just answering questions like these in a robotic fashion so he doesn't have to think for himself and admit the drug war is the wrong way to go.
"epidemic"?? LOL. My ass! I bet that "epidemic" is grossly overexaggerated. And besides, if consenting, informed people, especially adults, wanna get high or do drugs in private and aren't hurting anyone, why should WE, esp. the gov't, care? If anything, the gov't should be focusing on prevention and treatment, not arresting people or fighting some bogus "war" on them.
DRUG USE IS NOT IMMORAL! It's amoral. It has no moral status. It's just SUBSTANCES that one can or cannot consume.
@whoo689 The drug problem is a PUBLIC HEALTH problem, NOT a criminal one! Drugs should never have been illegal. They're just fucking substances! Yes, people can OD on them, and kids shouldn't be doing them, but consenting adults who know the risks or want to take the risks should be allowed to do so. Besides, virtually every decriminalization project in countries that have tried them, esp. in Western Europe, has been a HUGE success! Esp. decriminalization in Portugal.
@whoo689 We need to get over this American paranoia about drugs. Drugs in and of themselves don't have these special magical properties that can kill anyone with a single hit. They don't "make" you commit crimes; people who are apt to commit crimes and use them probably would've committed the crimes anyway! And the rate of addiction varies from drug to drug. Even heroin can be non-addictive for some folks, as Jacob Sullum points out extensively in his book "Saying Yes."
Jack Conway years ago would have been a winner in KY or most other places...young, attractive, and eloquent. Problem is, he's just another smooth talking establishment figurehead and folks can spot them a mile away nowadays. Paul is authentic and the genuine thing and that's why he's creating so much enthusiasm in KY.
Rand paul just doesn't get it .... I believe passionately .. etc.
That's how you know a candidate has no idea what he or she is talking about and should be avoided; they make an passionate speech but remain non-specific and provide no reason.
@Boonamal He's trying to get elected dude. Don't you know who is father is? Also he wants to legalize it, thats what hes saying. Hes saying get the feds out of the way. Hes mostly addressing the crystal meth problem they have in Kentucky.

Jack Conway believes that I'm too stupid, if offered methamphetamine, to say, "No, I don't want that."

Conway = put more people in prison, spend more money, confiscate more property from people who use drugs, ignore the constitution.
Paul= Follow the constitution, stop putting Americans in prison, stop spending money on a failed drug policy, stop ruining peoples lives.
I know who which sounds better to me.
Vote Rand Paul if you believe in freedom and the constitution.
