One thing I will never get about anime: Decapitations would cut the hair too. Hair does not have all that much tensile strength - any blow from a blade hard enough to sever the neck would be hard enough to sever the hair dangling right next to it.

Teresa's death definitively was traumatic, i kinda think that Bellemere's death should have been a little higher on the list. But that might be because of i'm a little  One Piece biased because I haven't really seen Claymore or the other anime's much.

The reason he's on this list is because he's one of the first badass anime characters ever that had a such a traumatic past. The manga was written in 1983 :) Take care!
