You seem deluded. 190bhp is what the old Rover V8 put out in the SD1 Vitesse I believe. And that was back in the mid 80's...

This one is a 2003 adi A8 4.2 quattro with stock 335 HP. This video was taken when the car was stock.

Some time later, I had it superchipped and installed a complete borla exhaust system and on the dyno, we measured 362 HP....

BMW engines are very unrelaible, (the newer ones) for example the intake manifold is made of cheap plastic instead of cast alloy, so this part cracks after acouple of years and the engine suffers under bad vauum loss, this can cause a cracked or bent ylinder head and blown head gaskets all the time...I dont understand that people accept this kind of make it cheaper game on premium cars costing a lot of money

BMW is stil one of the very best engine builders ever, they also develop all of there engines in house. I think opel uses those PSA engines.

The reason why they use plastic is weight reduction, to get the 50/50 weight distrinution typical in bmw´s.

My m50 engine has plastic intake manifold and is not cracked after 15 years ;)

He is quite right, there are no better angines than the Opel inline 6, I am sure that noone here has ever seen an inline 6 Opel.

I have an Opel Diplomat 2,8E from 1978 and this engine (excellent D Jetronic injection) is just a dream..this car has the sound of maserati because the inline 6 from opel sounds best and is more reliable than any exote engine.
