I played every final fantasy game too and I actually like the story, the soundtrack, the design and the graphics of this game but the battle system could have been better. I guess THIS is what the haters are all raging about. IMO the game is pretty good, maybe not the best, but still pretty good.

I'm afraid I must disagree. Sure, I understand having singers in theme songs but having them in areas like this? Unbelievable. And no, I'm not being a troll or hating on this song. I'm merely stating that I don't think that upbeat vocals like these are necessary in areas of a game. To be honest, the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack was much better and Final Fantasy games before that.

At first I was extermely skeptical about this game. i love to look for that magic in every final fantasy.and in 13 i actually found it, despite the exterme changes the game was quite moving. Thanks to the amazing world the jap created lol. but i looked at new bodhum and the beach was beautiful plus this amazing music in the background, just left me in awe. I can tell im reeally gonna enjoy this game :)

@TheMeezProductions Interestingly enough, Pulse started as a 'modern' (by our standards) world, except with fal'cie along the landscape. The War of Transgression wrecked Pulse, and left it scattered into villages (where everyone eventually died or became cie'th, pretty much). The survivors/fal'cie arranged Ragnarok to happen, but it partially failed and Pulse became a wasteland.

It's now back on the upward trend, thanks to FFXIII's events.

the best voice i have heard in final fantasy, in any song, theme song, it actually sounds like someone speaking their own language, instead of an asian struggling to say random phonics.

even if it's not, whatever, it doesn't sound like a pop song to me either, it's quite chill and etherial and i'm pleased for it's existence in the game, definitely one of the best in it I've heard so far.

@Sebtastical Origa (who sings) is actually Russian and quite loved in Japan, also for her works with Yoko Kanno :) Her English is wonderful though and yes, the most amazing voice <3 I was sooo happy when I found out she was part of this soundtrack!
