Followed instructions to the letter. This is by far the fastest way to germinate a seed, on par with soil. I planted two of the same beans, one in germinator and one in soil, they were pretty much the same, germinator seemed to have bigger roots thou.

Generally, the bigger the seed the longer it will take to germinate. Beans, peas, pumpkins all took less than a week.
