Samus' trilogy was awesome fighting. Warning: Spoilers.

MP1 is where the Hypermode started and with turbo mode from Game Stop's GC controller, the Hypermode was a phazon machine gun of epicness.

MP2 Had no Hypermode, but you still get to use a kind of phazon beam to shoot Dark Samus at the last fight. MP2 was kinda epic. I think Samus went on the planet then Dark Aither was born, and Dark Samus too.

MP3: Hypermode back, but limited ammo and corruptible. Idk what so say on this one.

@superhammerhead No, just an SA-X with better AI, uses ALL of Samus' upgrades, and is pretty much an evil Samus at full power. Two full power Sami with equal power, but the boss Samus is capable of calling in helpers. The other Samus is of course the player one.

@ConstantCabbage From 1:03 and onward, the Metroid Prime Trilogy Menu theme is featured, with edited samples for percussion in the background. The Menu theme is a remix of Rundas' theme and can be heard clearly at 1:34. Check the video description for details on the other songs used.

@JFSOCC Well, I wouldn't say so. I'd say the biggest challenge is being honest about one's own work. I for instance might want lots of tracks playing in a megamix mashup, but I realize that after a certain point, the sound is too cluttered, and doesn't sound meaningful anymore. Thats not good for music listening. The human ear has it's limitations. Once you start to appreciate that, you will begin to learn more about balancing sound and harmony.

You render me speechless once again. I'm almost damn sure that the universe would explode from the epic-ness. Perhaps ironic, but this felt like it had more a hint of determination to do something than Ultima Prime. I can't say anything, but I can't help but feel the Core Essence at 0:27 feels a bit...well, awkward. Everything else, I can say nothing, positive nor negative, I'm just stunned.

@JRevengeavengerY Thanks, JRaY but the original track had too many techno blips in the background. All I really needed were the 3 notes of the Metroid melody, and the Pinball version with it's mild reverb and consistent (and mildly obnoxious) bass fit best. Also, you're right about the determined feel. This mix was my alpha and omega of boss themes. I went all out here. I'm not even sure there is a boss in the Metroid series to match up to this. I sure had fun making this though.

This is the definition of Metroid epicness. It doesn't get any more intense than this. I love how awesome parts of the song come in at brilliant times. It fits so well together. For example, 0:26, 0:35 and 0:54 (Rundas theme)

You never disappoint me with these masterpieces. I never thought Metroid music could get this deep and epic. You have clearly demonstrated that it can, and have pushed that to the extreme. Awesome.
