this is ridicuclous! If we want to lose fat I believe we should still be able to eat "normally" with a little changes inour diet. There's nothing wrong with carb. They give you energy and if you don't have enough glucose in your body, it's going to be harder for you to lose weight. I do agree you drink only water but you should also drink tea. If we only do this during our diet period then we might lose weight but once we get back to our regular eating habits we would surely gain them back.
personally though I have seen the best results by two simple rules
1) feed that body what its made of, making sure to load up on anti oxydants.
2) work out every day; yes, every day. The Charles Atlas system urges daily training; its not lifting weights, its merely a distant cousin of cals, so there is little muscle damage, meaning, no recovery period needed.
Did this for two weeks four months ago lost 9.5 lbs didn't gain any back. On the contrary. Used it to start a new health regimen and since have lost a total of 25 lbs.
okay.... then what can I eat?

That is Nonsense. White rice is a complex carb and I know a lot of people preparing themselves for competitions just eating chicken and white rice.
