Got out on my snowboard for the first time yesterday.. Snowkiting is so much easier than kitesurfing how can anyone say it’s not. The prinsable is the same; it just hurts more when you wipe out lol. kite was to big & not inflated enough, I can see that & I’ve only been kitesurfing 6 mouths. You loose 30% of the power from the kite in the water so you don’t need such a big kite on land. This was my first time doing any type of land kiting, It was fun, made I nice change.

These people are obvious novices with the kite and have no real idea of what they are doing... a recipe for disaster.

Just from an impact perspective, I would recommend starting with water and moving up to snow once you have control of the kite and board.

Falling is what all beginners do - no matter how much board experience you may have - learning the kite first is key!

Any chance of getting your mates on the water on a bloody gusty day, giving them an under inflated 12m in 40 knots? I'm a kitesurfer and I have tried snow kiting and personally i think its easier.

yeh i agree, i think its eaysier too, when you land jumps on snow it is eaysier to crry on with out stopping planing and you get a better edge on snow, and less friction.

i never tried snowkite, but i kite on the sea and, i don't need to know how to do snowkite to feel afraid when i see this video, he was lucky 'cause it could be the worst experience of his live. on the video i have been all the time waiting to see a big big crash, not for laught, keep a little caution and love a little more your live.
