You can`t compare the iPhone to a HTC or any other PDA or whatever. Apple stuff is expensive toys, that has to look cool and nice and such, thats it, period. Apple functionality is a must but definetly not first place on the developers list.

- Unlock screen is nice
- Today screen is improvement over older versions, maybe some day you ms will make it like on desktop so you can put shortcuts to programs, without having to install 3rd party programs
- Start menu sucks ass: Icons are too big and have zig zag arrangement, I dont know about you but I hate it. I liked start menu in wm6.1 and older way more, so zero points for this installed quick menu as replacement.
I have never owned an iphone and I don't ever plan on owning one. But I have owned windows 6.5 device in the form of a HTC Tilt 2. But Windows 6.5 was a piece of shit, no matter how much this video tries to dress it up.
Even with it's features it loses to iOS due to horrid performance and overall worst devices. Windows Mobile is by far one of the worst phone OS's I've ever had to use.

Win did think of small things like notifications and all that but again for main stream public I think simpler is better. That phone would have been good for someone at the office.
Just wanted to comment about the "categories" view for WinMo 6.5. You can add folders and put the shortcuts in the folders you want inside the start menu for better organization. This is more like a computer, so if you are looking for a different, more "Candyland" UI, then 6.5 isn't a good choice. Additionally, there are a LOT of great, free apps from XDA developers (please donate to the writers if you use an app a lot).

Well the icons can b organised as v do in our pc by file explorer - windows - start menu - programs .
Copy paste , create shortcuts or folders, startup menus to run any program as in a desktop computer.
Winmo is true multitasking OS and is totally inherited from desktop pc.

Iphone and Android are gimmicks man.. I know you love it, and Im not biased. Ill put WinMo up against any other mobile os- any app you can run, I can run for free on WinMo, plus thousands more that Android or Iphone cant run, because WinMo has backwards compatibility with most old WinMo os's..

Just wanted to comment about the "categories" view for WinMo 6.5. You can add folders and put the shortcuts in the folders you want inside the start menu for better organization. This is more like a computer, so if you are looking for a different, more "Candyland" UI, then 6.5 isn't a good choice. Additionally, there are a LOT of great, free apps from XDA developers (please donate to the writers if you use an app a lot).

@drrobertoboogie97 yr's probably has been modified, for example like how HTC added HTC Sense to WinMo for the HTC HD2, if not, yr probably lying, lol. even the one showed in this video, the winmo is slightly laggy and slower if u compare it to IOS, it may have more functionality compared to IOS but overall user experiance, the iOS wins in terms of speed and user friendlyness (since iOS almost doesn't have any menus at all, lol)

Apple markets to overly impulsive people, with a ton of hype just to gain burst sales at product launch. No one owns a first gen iphone cause one they were crap and all of the disappointed impulsive individuals rushed out and bought new ones. i know people who still have very old blackberries, the hard thing is to get them to change them( that is the sign of a good product like a rolex) not a piece of crap that constantly needs to be updated and changed but is never quite right.

That's a iPhone 1st generation. Although the iOS ( Known as iPhone OS in the past) might be different, the running speed of the phone can't be compared to a windows mobile which is just recent. Apple is being simple and easy while windows is not.

Android is about as good maybe as IOS4. But WM is quite possibly the absolute shittiest phone interface ever. What a fucking POS. I had a WM phone, well 2 of them actually.
