@bubbasmiles No Cutting needed. New shocks & Air Lift Airbags, nothing more and It'll fly over the worst bumps/dips smoothly at 70 mph. Check the other vids, it's all shown.
@ScoobyDigites So true that many autobody shops would'nt touch it. I must admit that I can't see myself personally doing it again, but it was fun. I'm planning to put together a slide show of the entire restoration. I hope you return to check it out. Once again, Thank You.
@msxoxoluvitxoxo I first replaced the shocks and in many places, this would've been suffiicient, but this is not a good thing when you must slow to avoid an unexpected bump at 55mph and tail-gaiting traffic is unaware. I later added Air-Lift airbags and this allowed me to handle those same bumps at 70mph. The airbags also improved the handling in rough winds. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
@juicenezz Thanks I appreciate that juice. I'd like to check out your van as well. BTW you can see more of my van project from start to finish on car domain dot com Search: FullsizeBowtie & I'm the only result. Also, 2011 film on this van will began in April.
You make it look to easy!! & make me wanna get one!! I always dreamed about an van with an bed that folded out in the back just for the times.I had am 4x4 Blazer & I miss her even doe she was always breaking down,The Blazers are no good,1986
@Triton88Keyz I had a brown/white 84 blazer. Never had a problem with it. Hater broke in it outside CYD on the East and I felt violated. I got rid of it soon after.
@mkcsk8maniac I still say that myself everyday. I had a buddy make a U-Turn in here yesterday and It's felt like she belonged to someone else & I wanted to buy her on the spot. Even those who don't do big rims respect her.
