  • If you like Steely Dan and the Bee Gees, you'll enjoy this song. Totally underrated.

  • Not every artist had the production support or maybe even the talent to still sound great decades later. With the likes of the Vannelli's, Steely Dan, the Eagles and such like, the arrangements and the musicianship still holds strong on these recordings even today.

  • Best hair ever.

  • fabulosa musica que bonitos recuerdos

  • if gino and joe had a blow out ,i wasnt aware..but for music sake they should have stayed together cuz joes keyboard Genuis was just as important as ginos efforts...joes keyboard genius wasnt even heard till 10 years later..men are such DICKS..THEY NEED TO LEARN TO PUT THEIR DIFFERENCES ASIDE FOR THE SAKE OF THE FANS

  • one of the best, thanks for posting such a wonderful music.

  • @wtchtower

    You are very welcome....;)

  • Agreed..Joe's keyboard work was cutting edge and he was ahead of his time

  • He is so absolutely awesome. Then and Now...Saw him in Oct.2010 and he's still the whole package. WOW BRAVO MY FRIEND.

  • Man it's crazy so many underrated unknown individuals who put their dent on music. I'm so Mr. Vannelli for not knowing of you sooner...and I suppose to be a jazz head....smh

  • Great music in its purest form.

  • @maurizius27 I absolutely love Gino Vannelli. He is the best singer, in my opinion. He played here in Edmonton on the 3rd. of March and was tereffic. Still as good as he always was. And, I got to meet him. He still looks great, and is a wonderful person.

  • Yeah Gino from 78 forward!!!

  • It's so good to hear these songs after so many years. My cassettes are long gone, but these songs are still so good to hear. I loved this whole album. I love the beat of this song. It makes a slow white boy like myself want to get up and dance....oh yeah.

  • @Quantanthead

You can still buy his cd's, and he has also written many since the "80's....I used to have them on 8 track and cassettes too, You should check into the cd's...He also has a new cd with a book, and a cd released with a book of his poetry that were released last year, as a fan you would love them, they are a treasure!!!!!

  • THE GREATEST!!!

  • super awesome

  • TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT

  • Awesome song. TIGHT!!

  • Come on Gino.. whats a Montrealer like you doing with a disgusting leafs jersey on...

  • This is one of my favorites by Gino Vannelli.

  • This song is about life and to let things flow and find that inner peace

  • I could not thank my older sis enough for turning me on to him!! His voice his sexiness his everything!!! Thanks Sis (RIP) You musical angel!!

  • @AdriAnneDeneen1 Okay what about my comment meant anything to you really??? What about my comment was not a compliment to Gino Vannelli and my deceased sister by the way!! Show you disrespect to someone that deserves it !!

  • @AdriAnneDeneen1 I would compare him to Carlos Santana in that he channels a spirit from within...that was sent to him from above....I have loved him since I was 16 and I will be 50 next month....My one wish before I die is to see him sing live....His music and vibration is eternal in my soul...as well as your beloved sister.....Death is not the end..it is a new beginning

  • @english425 I agree I apologize if I got a little upset. My sister is really the erason I love music so much. She was just awesome and I can not remember a day that went by that she did not have Gino playing. She is gone way too soon and way too young but I ill see her again!! Thanks for understanding!!

  • One of Gino's best written songs. I think he was going for a BeeGee's sound because they were the #1 group that year.

  • I think mabey this guy never got he credit that he should have , iver heard his music over the years but not untill latly have I taken much notice to his strong voice and fusion style like a canadian version of steely dan

  • @HomesteadAcres ...G V WAS AHEAD OF HIS TIME AS LEDZEPPELIN WAS TO ROCK MUSIC..music today only wished it was this good..you can take 1 artist to do all the hiphop genre and one to do all the rapgenre..the mother fukkers all sound the same...

  • @meatpole55 yes thats true I find that the 50s is like that to all sounds the same to me I like the 60s-even some late 80s

  • Who plays the guitar solo on this ?

  • sounds so nice, had to play it thrice--almost forgot how good this dude is! Thanks so much for posting

  • Thanks for posting the Gino Vanelli! I have spent more time listening to Gino that any other groups I've listened to. It sounds just as good now as it sounded in the 70's when I was in college. It really hits the spot.

  • hey love that GINO been listning a long time hes great!

  • Another very great and emblematic album!!!

    "BROTHER TO BROTHER"

1978 What a year for Gino!!

    Happy, happy musical memories!!

    Thank you, Mariska!

  • Shout out, to Joe Vanelli, he had alot to do with the Gino thing blowing up like it did. I wonder how they get along after all of this time.

  • Mary..Where is Gino today?I miss his music..his passion..:)

  • Pretty fly for a white guy.

    A Canuck no less!

    Canada got Soul!!!

Steely Dan-ish funk, in all the right ways!

  • Makes me think of girlfriend's in the past

  • @garyda1 Same here!!

  • Thank you so much for this!!! Wow, these great memories...

  • this is my all time favorite Gino Vannelli song . thank you for posting this one.

  • Gino..your music saved my sad teen life :))))))))Bless you!

  • Thank the Great Pumpkin people like Gino made narley music when I was younger. I wouldn't have to much to listen to today.

In '78, I was 20, and had been 'floating' around listening to Gino for about 6 or 7 years prior.

'Brother to Brother' was probably one of his best albums.

'Gist of the Gemini' is a masterpiece.

  • 1978 was a good year for me i was 13 and gino song - i just wanna stop was the groove of the autum and winter of 1978

  • An underrated GENIUS!

  • @saranayd

Thank you for your comment !!!!

  • Great one! Thank for posting. We have a radio station in my town that plays blues, jazz on Saturdays and I do try to remember to call and make Gino requests. So far so good!

  • A forgotten classic.

    Not forgotton, really.

It never got the attention it deserved.

  • From the first beat this piece achieves musical "tightness" few can rival. Gino is one of the greats!

  • This is the true Gino Vannelli that I know.

    Thank you for share.

  • My four favorite Gino songs are Black Cars, Sunset on L.A., Appoloosa, and this one. River Must Flow never got the attention it derserved. Sunset on L.A., by the way, is a smooth jazz tune from the early 90's.

  • Quel nectar !!!!!! Merci Mary

  • I love this song Mary! This is one of my favorites....can't wait for Gino's new CD...Feb. 4th! Thank you Mary, my Gino Sista!

  • I used to be able to hit some "Gino notes" on a mic. What a fun entertainer he was and apparently still is. Great live band at the time too.

  • BUENAS FOTOS DE LA SAGA VANNELLI

  • This song rocks - one of my favs!

  • It was this ablum that intoduced me to Gino, and I have been in love with his music and the man every since, Gino you are so Great.

  • Uhhhhhhhhh! WOW! WOW! WOW!

"Through love I will find the meaning in life!

    Oh, yeah!!!

Thank you for making me oh so very happy!

    "The river must flow", sista!!!

    Love from Mexico!

  • Well said, Is only through love that you will find the real meaning of life.
