Like the whole being hit in different parts of your body affecting your performance in different ways and the way skill upgrading is so vital to the whole way you approach the game...and how much shit you are allowed to do instead of being crushed by invisible walls and linear methods.

No game can ever achieve greatness without some hilarity. I find that sometimes phrases in a game that make you laugh incredibly bring back some of the greatest memories when thinking back on a good game. Corniness is ok at the right time and in small amounts which makes it so hard to pinpoint the right application. But I think when Deus Ex did it, it was perfect.
