@MarxLeninTrostsky Incorrect. Stalinism was dead right after Stalin died and the de-stalinization movement took place. And Russia was sick of communism for a long time, but all revolts were destroyed before they got any speed. It was Gorbachev's liberal reformation of the government that gave them freedom of speech and protest, and Russian used those to express their outrage. That led to the fall of the USSR. The people no longer feared their communist rulers.

@CCCP42 Der dt. Text stimmt, "shall" kann auch "sollen" heißen, hat aber normalerweise die Bedeutung des dt. Futur I. "Wir sollten" würde heißen "we should".
