you have to use batch image processing. Basically you need to make each individual frame and then combine them into a video. Luckily Chaoscope does most of the work. It takes a bloody long time to do it.
You're right. The chaoscope ones are better. They seem to be more controllable but I'm still on the leaarning curve for both these programs so will probably get better with animating Apo flames soon. Thanks for the comments.

The chaoscope animation turned out better than the apo's (In my opinion). More fluent :)
