Hi, I am a multi-instrumentalist: I want to make simple multiple videos. I want to sing, play the guitar, bass, keyboard and drums on separate video clips, such as 5 videos, sync them, add original music to the videos, sync music with videos and be a one-man band. I want Sony Vegas but I need the most basic, user friendly without bugs that won't crash on me. I have researched Vegas 8,9,10, and 11 and they all seem to have crash, bug or user-friendly problems. Can you recommend the best for me.

Go to "View" > "Video Preview". It should come back. It might be squished to the left, but you should be able to expand it again.

I used Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 to edit the video on my channel.. my computer really isn't that great so the render isn't as smooth as it should be but if you have a fast computer that can handle rendering then you can't go past this program. I <3 it!

@CaptainRoku If you're recording games, then you really just have to go for FRAPS, which isn't too expensive at all, and records your voice. If you're not recording games, and you're just doing little tutorials for technical stuff on your computer or something, then there's plenty of stuff out there, you can go for anything really. Hypercam, camtasia, jing, etc, they're all free ones, but there are better ones out there.
