  • now i know why there are cross on the side of the rode's.humm my be that's why.

  • I love this road. I travel on it quite often, and I catch plenty of nice cars up there, last week it was a blue ZR1.

  • You can make that road fun driving a '91 4 Runner!!

  • I was on this road (SR 89A) last Friday (3/4/11). There are 158 curves over a 12 mile stretch on Mingus Mountain into Jerome. This road is not for the faint of heart. The vertical drop and the sheer cliffs on the side are an acrophobe's nightmare. The road is open 365 days a year, even in snowy weather. The streets in Jerome itself are also steep. It is the most "vertical" city in the U.S. Good brakes are a necessity.

  • 89 such a fun road i have a sports car and drove it between cottonwood and Prescott via Jerome all the time such a fun trip! cool video!

  • how fast were u going

  • In the eighties, I drove the town of Jeromes 1962 garbage truck on this same road....!8 miles an hour max speed..

  • Absolute awesomeness!
