Personally I would love to see the classic western again, so much better than the crap that passes for movies in today's Hollywood.

There are a lot of different westerns out there now. Swedish. Japanese. Recently I saw a what some have called a Kiwi Western or New Zealand western called Good For Nothing. The main guy is a pretty freaking awesome anti-hero. bit. ly/eOX07K

If you think these clips were representative of the true West, think again. First, in the true West no one wore guns on town limits so there were zero spontaneous gun fights in town and saloons. People didn't drink whiskey like apple juice or water. Guns had to be checked in at law offices in towns. Horses didn't carry a rider for hours or many miles at one time. Horses needed rest, feed, water, and rubbed down. A lever action Winchester cost 3 months wages for a typical cowboy.

most of this compilation r my favorites westerns ever. A couple of the black n whites i don't know if i seen before. Would have liked 2 have seen some Bill Hickok, Billy the Kid the Alamo, Geronimo, Custer n Sitting Bull, Dirty Dozen, Rio Bravo i could go on 4 ages. Could any1 suggest some westerns 2 watch that isn't here please. Awesome job Markmbonner loved it.

This was wonerful. My only complaint was that some of the footage from "the quick and the dead" included Sharon Stone. I liked the movie don't get me wrong, but she is just so bad at everything. And I mean everything. I still can't believe that women is part of MENSA. goddamn...
