  • I'm liking this version a lot. Good work.

  • WOOOW AMAZING, I liked especially how at the end the melody turned to the original for the last seconds. Great!

  • Perfect!

To bad I don't hear often in the Holy Mass

  • god damn, that was beautiful :D my personal favourite version now, well done

  • GOOd job.. but i didnt like the HARMONY used .. made the song loose its originalism ..

  • @yellowboi77 I agree on the loose of originalism, but I found the arrangement more than acceptable

  • Love the interpretation and the pronunciation ! Finally I found the video with a correct Latin pronunciation.

  • @lsantomal that´s because their prime language is French, a latin one

  • God I could tell that they weren't American. The diction was excellent and the dynamics and intonation was superb.

  • i couldn't agree more.

  • American ? The song is not is English but in Latin !

  • In fact, we're french Canadian, so... =)

  • To KairaHert1:

In fact Catherine, your choral have been eliminated at the 1rst round, because you finished at the 3rd place... hihi ^_^

  • The girls, yes, but the boys finished first! It's McGill who won the second place... Only because we didn't modulate in Eternity...!

  • very nice! the director reminds me somewhat of my choir director..lol....these guys are good! xx

  • Great job......

  • although it is a canadian choir it sound very french it is because there is strong links between choirs from france and québec.

  • full of dynamic youth and hope

  • This is very nice and interesting. The Latin pronunciation is good too

  • This is great. Yes, it's not libera, but libera is a different kettle of fish (they had accompaniment, for one).

I loved the contrasts in dynamics and the tone of the tenors/basses, who don't look that old, is great. I also enjoyed the tone of the trebles. The style contrast between staccato and legato was also quite good. Good job boys!

  • Joyeux Noel! I love the arrangement and the performance (one of the few on youtube that has the right ENERGY). Thank you for sharing this.

  • no one is Libera

but still, this is very impressive

btw... even if i didnt like a child's performance, i would simply say nothing.

    i would never criticize a children's choir.

  • cool...i agree with that statement completly!

  • This is a beautiful choir/// thank you so much

  • Fascinating and beautiful staccato-like rendition of this piece, wonderfully executed. Kudos to the singers and director.

Bravo!!

  • If you know this work, this is an expert rendition. Bravissimo!

  • @francbailallo

    BIEN DIT!

    JE SUIS TOTALEMENT D'ACCORD!!!

    tu fais parti des PCL?

  • Though I like this version, I have to criticise them for almost completely covering the soprano voice.

  • I think his was never intended for soprano. But their delicate addition of soprano is exquisite

  • Didn't flow enough. Maybe it's just the french language which is quite precise and cut off. Only really liked the end when the best part of harmony came in as well

  • Sorry, I always thought this was in Latin.

  • so did i...i've sang it in latin with my county chorus...and there can be a soprano... there are many different arrangements i'm sure. cuz the one i sang was a little different... and we had a tambourine.

  • mon anciene compine etait dedans :) melanie leblanc tres belle voix
