So I started making this and so far it's taken me SIX HOURS and I still have to put the back side together, connect it , and tuck in some ends. This is definitely a tedious project, but sooo cute! Granted, the first flower probably took me 30 minutes to make. The next couple took me about 20 minutes each. By the fifth flower I finally got the hang of it and was able to create each flower in about 10 minutes. I think the worst part is tucking in the ends. :P

yeah i ran out of red ribbon so mine is a mixture of red bright pink and light pink. took me 6 hours but it looks so good! :D thanks for this vid!

and I have a little trick for making the flower, when making the middle puffs, instead of turning anticlockwise to do the next puff, turn it clockwise instead, so that the puff you already made is on the left. that way, theres no ribbon in the way, you dont need to hold anything out of the way, and can just go straight ahead onto making the puff. it would maybe save you a few secs on each puff^^

@SecretLifeOfaBioNerd thanks for the tutorial, I knew how to make this but didnt know you had to fold the circle in half to get the top and bottom crease, I just creased them myself without folding in half, folding the cirlce in half makes much more sense^^ I'd love for you to check out my ribbon heart vids, or even my other (3d origami) tutorial vids too, I think you'll like them^^

TIP: if anyone wants a shorter/easier way to do this, use double sided tape^^ then the strips wont slide out^_^. I have a 3 part vid on making the flower units, heart and chandelier in the vid response, I'd love for anyone to check it out, thanks^^

mine turned out great! thank you! though i would recommend not cutting the ribbons just yet. put together the heart, then you can find out what extras to cut off and the sides may be slightly different lengths. I rid did the "trio" hearts because mine were too short. just a heads up if anyone one is going to make this. thanks again :D

I just figured something out, for the part where you make the little poof in the center of the star flower thinge its really hard to just try to poke it in(for me atleast) and so i just found some index card, cut up a thin strip so that it could go through the slit and fold it in half so the ribbon is between it, THEN push it through the slit. I find this easier, hope this helps (and that i explained it well)
