Zelda isn't more sophisticated, it's more story-driven and straight-forward. I know it was mainly bad wording or the lack-there-of but you made it sound like Skyrim and it's players were unsophisticated action junkies. You are right that they are two different things entirely but more so in gameplay and how the story plays out, not in the sophistication. They both have good and bad characteristics, one is an open story, one is a bit linear, but one has very good combat, the other not so much.

29:00 Not really considering you can get one of those in the sealed temple for free. Early on it a good choice since you can't repair your shields outside of the upgrade shop but after you get the Sacred Shield you can kiss those potions goodbye (since it can repair itself) besides you can upgrade heart potions to be able to restore all your hearts and have two uses for one bottle. Plus later on you can get an "incredibly sturdy shield" and you will never have to worry about it breaking.

Refined gamers play Zelda? Maybe in the NES/SNES days but ever since the Wii (arguably Gamecube) Nintendo has shifted towards the casual crowd. The only hardcore gamers that still play the Wii are the ones playing for nostalgia. Dark Souls would be like wine, Skyrim would be like beer and Skyward Sword would be more like baby formula. The NES/SNES Zelda games are like a fine scotch however.

Call me weird, but I love Fi and Navi, and was sad when the adventure ended and had to leave them. Maybe it's because when I play, I always imagine myself as Link, and grow fond of these characters. Fi is my 2nd favorite companion in the Zelda games, Navi being the 1st, Tatl from Majora's Mask my 3rd, Ezlo in Minish Cap 4th and the boat in Wind Waker 5th. Just started Twilight Princess recently, so I can't judge on Midna yet.

One of the things I really like in this game is unlike in Twilight Princess when Midina would just speak jibbrish, Fi actually speaks Japanese. Although her voice is auto-tuned. So I guess technically this is the first real Zelda game with voice acting. ...just with one actor but none the less I like that FI actually speaks Japanese.

After having Midna, an interesting, strong and entertaining character as Link's guide, Fi is a big let down. I don't care about her at all. She's more annoying than Navi. "Master, I have calculated that there is there is a 43% chance of rain today, followed by a 90% chance of no one really cares." Shut up.

@rkfan100 Midna SUCKED as a guide, but was a good character. Except for transforming and warping, she was useless. When it came to the story, Midna felt like the main character while you're pretty much her side kick. Fi is kinda robotic but it makes sense, since she is the master sword spirit. Fi is a good guide, but isn't that much of a character, but that's good because she's just your guide she isn't supposed to be a great character.

@rkfan100 That's weird, your reply didn't appear in my inbox. Midna was more of a partner then a guide, she would give you information sometimes, but she wasn't your go to for information like Navi, tatl, and Fi, (or Goombario, Goombette, and Tippi from the Paper Mario series). Midna sometimes tells you obvious things in some boss battles like morpheel though, and for some reason I didn't really build a connection with her (probably because I spoiled the game for myself).

I decided I shouldn't judge a game before playing and bought the Nintendo selects version. It was fun but I wish the towns and the people in towns weren't so boring, and actually told me something cool (and weren't totally blind to the castle being surrounded by a giant crystal).

#2: Green potion is actually a stamina potion which makes your stamina gauge go slower and the blue one makes your air gauge (underwater) go slower too. I think they both only last 3 minutes. The Pink potion/revitalizing potion only restores your shield and revovers 4 hearts.

You probably already know all this but just wanted to make sure :)

Its a good show, but lots of people, especially American people confuse that cartoon to be anime which isn't. An anime is something such as One Piece, Rurouni Kenshin, and so on. It does have some Japanese reference to it, but it doesn't mean its anime. Look at an anime called Baccano, it has American reference, but its still anime.

i played this game at a gamestop (cause i have no Wii) and it was fun. i fought the first boss (i think)and that was fun, i went into a dungeon and it took awhile to get my sword out, but i love the flying bird parts. i fell into nothing 3-4 times before knowing what to do and it was great after that. i would most likely get this game.

30 hours of true gameplay= complete the game

therefore one hour of true gameplay equals to 8 episodes times by 30 is 240 episodes.

But since the level of dialog starts to drop off from this point I'd say the number of episodes will reduce since Kwing has played the game and will be get through the actual game faster.

Fi's "stiched leggings", that zig zag lines on the handle. Fi's "wings", the master swords "wings". the sharp edge of the sword is Fi's tip of her hair.
