the ancient egyptians were black. The mummy of Hatshepsut's father, Thutmoses the 1st, once had coarce wooly hair. He is now bald but a photo can be seen in a published book from the 1930s. Even the stringy haired mummies were blacks they had a oromo Ehtiopian/ Somolian like appearance like the Bega in Egypt today

Why would Hatshepsut call the people of Punt (Somoli/Ethiopian area) her ancestors. Hatshepsut's father Thutmoses the 1st, had coarse woolly hair (See My Uploads with photo from 1930s published book of Thumoses' mummy with wooly hair). He is now bald. Hatshesut's grandmother was the coal black Ahmose Nefertari from the 17th dynasty. She's depicted as coal in every painted scene. You can't blame that color on religious symbolism. Hatshepsut would have worn mens clothing because she wanted everyone to see that she was not just a Great Queen of Egypt but a Pharaoh and the only way to do that was to appear like a man.

And BTW the Egyptians where not black the Nubians where black, but the Egyptians looked like Arabs.

Es cierto,, Tutankhamón vivio en la 18 dinastia al igual que Hatshepsut,, pero el mucho mas alante,, en el periodo amarniense,, mientras que Hatshepsut vivio en el periodo tutmésida

you don't know nothing about Egyptians,, Hatshepsut wear women's clothes and a woman's life,, she ONLY appears in estatues and reliefs with bears and others pharaoh's atributes because she wanted priests to be agree with her reign,, she wasn't lesbian and she didn't behave like a man,, she appears with pahraoh's atributes,, don't with man's atributes ;-)
