I'm so glad to see someone as obsessed with the idea of this as i am. The story, the world, the imagery. All bizarre and horrifying. You need to read the story.  For sure. It's one of the most horrific and riveting stories i've ever read. And keep in mind it came out in the 60s. Think about that when you read some of the things that AM makes his prisoners do.

theres deffinitely alot of satanic references in this game. the jackal is usually another animal the devil often disguised himself as to trick humans in certain mythologies. and in the meat locker, the meat formed together to cast a shadow of a horned figure on the wall. even the jackal himself said AM was messing with him too, wheres god in all this? is AM god? overall, its the author and game developer's opinion, even if they arent exactly fans of god, interesting game. really good in fact!

Extremely painful and most definitely mutilating, but hardly completely lethal unless you can manage to writhe enough to get some major arteries. Furthermore, AM would not necessarily let you die.

I don't think I get too much of Gorrister's story. I understood how he hurt the animals, then he cleaned his hands of the blood. It was symbolic. But what's the symbolisim for giving his heart to a jackal who ate it??

I figured it was sort of symbolic as gorristor is a loner.

When you meet different people and befriend them you in essence give them a part of your heart and sometimes people screw you over and hurt you and I figured that was why the Jackal eats it.

Though people are cruel they still can redeem themselves and humans do this all the time when they hurt the ones they love.

I know it sounds a bit stupid but hey.

This game is pretty confusing. How can Gorrister be alive, if he is dead? How can AM transport people everywhere he wishes? Is the world Gorrister is in the real world or just some fake one AM has made up. What the hell is going on? Regardless, this is a very interesting LP, can't wait for the next part.
