Most abortions are performed in the first trimester. Those performed after that time are usually special cases. Also, and yes this is addressed to @prolifenews , if you were pregnant with a child, who you knew for a certainty that would be highly mentally handicapped, why would you not get an abortion?

What if you became "highly mentally handicapped" now, should your mother have a right to kill you now? What's the difference between inside & outside the womb? Is location a factor for you?

Potential for life? So when is a person a person? What is added to the baby to make it more of a person than when he/she was first created? We all know these are babies that are being aborted.
