  • Very good video indeed! Shows just how capable the B5 S4 is.

    Excellent car and clip

  • What wheels is the car using? The brand and wheel dimensions?

    p.s. Massive effort 034motorsport,

Traditionally, the term 'ART' was used to refer to any skill or mastery. ( you have created a 'Work or Art' )

  • @96audi , wow, thank you for gracious words, it means a lot to us! For this event we ran 17" Einke wheels, we actually picked up over 1 second per lap at Sears Point over the 18" that we were running! (mostly due to weight, these wheels are very light)

  • @034motorsport , thanks for the reply, it's much appreciated.

But credit where credit is due, i'm still shaking my head in awe from watching that.

    Cheers, Paul

  • Nice car. Do realize though they stripped it down, moved the driving position and heavily modified this car. Very far from say a daily driven CTS-V which with some work could do a 11.5 1/4 mile and they're are other options as well. I guess I thought this car would have been a 9 sec car with 900+ hp at the wheels. . . . 4 wheels!

  • @badopinion , you may just have a "bad opinion" here ;)

First off, the competition was run on Continental street tires, a CTS-V would not run 11.5 on street tires, in the ETGP 2009 there were two 700+HP BMW M3's and both ran over 12.2 in the quarter mile on street ries as well. While you are right that our car could potentially run 9's with the right tires, you are wrong about implying that it would do it on a hard compound street tire.

  • @034motorsport - You hit the nail on the head with that response!!!!! Any decent enthusiast, tuner, and driver would agree with you. Shame badopinion lacks knowledge in that department, as he clearly points out in his comment.

    Props 034!

  • Going fast in the quarter mile has as much to do with traction as it does HP, you should know that, if traction is limited then so will be the time's that can be run. Hope that helps, thank you.

  • @badopinion - btw you notice its not on a actual 1/4 mile track. The grounds are unprepared (unlike a real drag strip) and on street tires.

  • @badopinion you realize that was on street tires right?

  • amazing car and extremely work, it's a piece of art

great job BOY'S.Keep FOUR CIRCLES UP.

    Well done from GREECE

  • Damn i love that car....

great results guys! mad respect on your work

Highest horsepower VR enigine in the world , by 034 motorsport :D

  • I would like to congratulate you guys on an excellent and well deserved win. The competition was serious, some of the best the tuner world has to offer and you guys DOMINATED!

This really goes to show what the Vr6 and B5 chassis can do. I love the fact you guys didn't go with a 3.6 or 3.2 and stuck with a 2.9, though I know the car is a 3.6 now.

Cheers to seeing future products and projects!

    Well done gentlemen, well done.

  • Thank you Vic for the kind words! I also want to recognize that all teams that entered did a great job and we were honored to be a part of this competition.

  • Oh, and to confirm, the engine is still a 2.9l, no plans to go to a 3.6

  • Just out of curiosity, is that oil smoke coming out of the exhaust while you guys are on the dyno?

  • Hello Johnny, no oil smoke at all, when you're pumping enough fuel for over 1100HP at the crank, and you vent it inside a relatively small dyno room, you're going to see what looks like smoke, but its simply the by-products of combustion and some un burnt fuel since run no cat. You'll notice on the quarter mile runs, with basically the same tune, there is absolutely NO smoke to be seen. Hope that helps =)

  • Awesome video, it is done really good.

Btw. how many hours of work are invested in this car?

  • Thank you for the compliments. Hard to say exactly how man hours are in the car overall, but I would estimate about 1-200 hours to build and prep it, projects like this take A LOT of time addressing all the little details and optimizing parts of the car so they don't break or so they perform even better. But really hard to say on the exact time that has been put in the car. Thanks,

  • Wow great job!

  • You get nothing but kudos from us. I sent you guys an email btw.

  • Very cool, thank you, same from us, we have nothing but respect for your tuning and company - cheers!

  • very good video fellas.. until next time... :)

  • TPC, thank you for the kind words, and we very much look forward to meeting and competing with you all again next year - until then! =)

  • Congrats to Javad, Christian and the crew a 034 on the wins. I've personally been waiting for this for a long time. Awesome job guys!

  • Thanks, we appreciate the kind words!

  • Excellent result... You guys did all that and still had time to answer the phones at the office all year!!!

    Big ups to 034Motorsport!!!

  • You get it! Thanks for the props =)

  • I wish I could afford a euro car can't tune a lot with a average mans pay

  • great work 034 , VR6 its sick

  • Thank you for the kind words!

  • In response to comment from 1xtra299:

"congrats to you guys, i didnt read the article but was this event a competition to see which tuner can build the best car? also were all the other cars modified to the extent that your car was modified to?"

Hello, thanks for the question, the competition is called the Eurotuner Magazine Grand Prix, its put on by, obviously, Eurotuner Magazine. They invite tuners to be a part of the competition, and there are only 2 rules:

  • - 1) No nitrous sprayed inside the motor and 2) must use the spec tire they dictate. Other than that, there are NO other rules. Any competitor can build and enter whatever car they want under these rules, there are no extra points for "full interior", being more "streetable", "less modified", etc. Our intention was to win, so we took every advantage that we could, as would any race team in a race series for example, or an athlete in a competition.

  • Why make your car slower to be more streetable if there is no points advantage? Other teams brought more "street" prepared cars and consequently went slower. Every team knows the rules going in, they should build their car to go as fast as possible within those rules. The TPC Cayman was a VERY nicely prepared car, we greatly enjoyed being in the event with them, and it should be measured on its own accord - an incredibly fast, well prepared street car.

  • We don't judge the competition or make the rules, so you'll have to ask Eurotuner about the validity or fairness of their competition, but all competitors in this year's GP did a wonderful job and all cars performed very well, all competitors should be very proud of their showing.

  • Nice work 034!!

  • What configuration of Buttonwillow were you running?

You guys should enter that in the 25 hours of Thunderhill in December.

  • We ran configuration #13. Our car is built for fast sprints, not endurance, so not sure that would be our first choice for the 25hr, but thanks for the suggestion! =)

  • sick sick sick video !!!

  • is that a bag of ice on top of the motor on the dyno??

  • yeah on the intake manifolds to keep the IATs down.

  • Yup, every little advantage counts =)

  • OMG!!! The sounds and performance out of that A4 make me soo happy.

  • Great video. Well produced. Love the sound of that VR6.

  • that audi is sick, awesome video, subscribing,

  • Great work guys. Talk about bringing a bazooka to a gunfight :)

  • congrats good stuff

  • been following this car since the first testing vids, pls post more vids!!!!! which engine do you guys like best, the vr6 of the audi 5 cyl?

  • Hey, we've posted quite a few videos of this already! Both motors have their strengths and weaknesses, the displacement of the VR6 is really nice, but its not as robust as the 5-cyl which is virtually bulletproof

  • yes i know i just love the car is all. congrats on the total domination. keep up the good work!!!

  • Thanks!

  • Sick car and video!

  • Yea, the guy who edited it is super sexy
