One study I translated said the majority of Danes support laws limiting religious freedom. Also, those cartoons were offensive to most people, not just Muslims. Well I do agree we have some Nazis, but our politics/goverment are more or less racistic, so I wouldn´t call os nazis, but racists, sure, some of us at least. I wouldn´t think of myself s a racist, but many danes, like my classmates, uses racist slur, like "Nigger" and what would be "paki" in english. And to Zartyzzo. If Denmark should be of one race we have a severe problem. I think you mean the soldiers were orderet not to shoot. I think I have heard 90 % of the population supported the government and its cooporaration with Germany. That was why I indirectly said the Danish resistence movement (10 %)would have been called terrorists today. The reason DK was counted as part of the western alliance was because of 1943 and the years hereafter. As I said too no countries did make any major resistence, even UK had plans to withdraw some part of their military equipment

While I agree that boycotting Demnark is an unecessary (and frankly unrealistic) way to handle things, I am concerned about the Nazi-istic principles arising from the anti-islam campaign that their own politicians have been publishing. Whilst the Danish might in general be a nice population, I would add, so were the Germans before Adolf Hitler.
