@19lemons93 I just thought that the books are better. The movies miss so many important details. The director removes so many important movies. For example, the last movie had Harry and Voldemort falling off a tower: "come on tom, lets finish this how it started. Together!" This line is just horrible and so cheesy. Nowhere was this in the book... I understand that the director has to put his own style onto it but changing it so much was wrong.

I find myself ignoring what isn't in the movie that is in the books because it would be impossible to add everything--they DEFINITELY wouldn't have pulled off book 7 without two parts. There are some little things I wished they'd put in, things I won't mention just in case I spoil it for those who for some strange reason haven't read the book. ;)

10 years of my life. The whole Harry Potter series is 10 years of my life. i started watching the movies and reading the books 10 years ago and ... like 10 days before this is released, i'll be 18. From my CHILDHOOD to the very day when i become an adult, i will have been raised with Harry Potter. Now that i'm almost a grown woman, i feel thankful to this series. I think we all are. @SalazarAndRowena I know what you mean. When I had seen the last LotR movie i felt empty, since LotR had been such a big part of my life. Both LotR and HP have been major influences on my life and they have been constants, and i nthe case of Harry Potter, the feeling of a continuous journey is still there. I can tell you, though, it gets better after some time, you just have to stop thinking of it as a continuous story and more of an everlasting adventure.
