Looks like your mare loves you very much.... But don't you ever worry about gators going in those FL ponds? We lived in the Lowcountry of SC for a few years, & I kept my horse at a stable that was located smack in the middle of an old rice plantation gone public park. We had some monster bull gators who'd sun themselves on the levis that we rode on. My horse would snort at them, & they'd run into the water fast, but I still wouldn't swim her with those beasts! LOL
Thank you all for the kind comments. Jetta is a very special girl and we are lucky to have her happy, healthy and still with us. As we approach 2012 she will be 18 years old and will be riding the Florida Cracker Trail for the 9th time.
