The left hand fingering isn't too hard, but the right hand fingering is real hard (done corectly) but it's only if ur trying to be faster than john williams :P
I read that, over mnay years, he purposefully bent his right-hand thumb little by little to have a better string attack. It apparently also helps somehow in contrapuntal (many voice) music.
...slowly, patiently, over many years - just as sax players develop embouchure, violinists get strong caluses, etc. It's all so unnatural ...and it works.
Tiny castanettes are hiding in his mouth, just watch his lips. Talent all around.
