More than likely it was sold by a new Realtor that had no clue, and probably never set foot on the property. Now if it was sold by a Realtor that sold it before, then you could prove they knew, Other than that your boarder line retarded for not getting it appraised. A appraiser would discover the snakes.

Haha! This is just like the house we lived in for about 2 weeks when I was a kid, except that house was infested with thousands of garden spiders. They weren't harmful, but they're really big and terrifying. xD We quickly moved out and my parents sued for a full refund on the house. Best 2 weeks of my life.

There is something wrong with the details of this story. I am suspicious. First off, is this family a city or suburb family? They seem really freaked out by one of the nicest snakes you can have around. Second, there are plenty of other options to get rid of them. There are pets you can get that will chase them off. There are animal groups that would help remove them. There is the exterminator. To me it just seems like they jumped to "default on the mortgage" and run way to quickly. JMHO

These are some of the dumbest people I have ever seen a story about. The MINUTE he realized that the snakes were a larger problem, he should have called an exterminator to investigate. In addition, he allowed his family to consume/bathe in foul-smelling water for weeks or months. What irresponsible parents. Again, he should have called someone about it on DAY ONE.
