This is like a mini horror movie. Why would you go under the house? Just get an army of mongoose and weasles and set them under the house and have hawks outside the house, done.
The fuck? How is it even LEGAL to sell a house when you know there is a serious - and potentially dangerous - problem like this one? The family could have caught some disease from the snake water, gotten bitten, etc. It's baffling that the realtor is getting off scot-free when he/she knew how serious this was, then sold it and never told the family about it...
@Random1289 I don't think they could, because it showed the realtor had put 'water/gater snakes' as an issue, but obviously never said that the snakes lived in the house.
@WhoTookMyMirr Ignorant comment! You have to prove your Realtor knew about this to sue them. Realtors are required to disclose all their knowledge. Can you prove what they know? More than likely it was sold by a new Realtor that had no clue, and probably never set foot on the property. Now if it was sold by a Realtor that sold it before, then you could prove they knew, Other than that your boarder line retarded for not getting it appraised. A appraiser would discover the snakes.
Would anybody else be positively overjoyed to catch 42 garter snakes in one day? Those things are adorable, especially when they flick their little tongues...
Yeah, I'm a herpetology fan. I would so love that house! Not to live in, maybe, 'cuz of the water, but to find snakes? heck yes!!!
As a prospective herpetologist, this would totally be my dream house. The water issue might be a bit bad, but still so many snakes! Excitement abounds!
Haha! This is just like the house we lived in for about 2 weeks when I was a kid, except that house was infested with thousands of garden spiders. They weren't harmful, but they're really big and terrifying. xD We quickly moved out and my parents sued for a full refund on the house. Best 2 weeks of my life.
whoa, i freakin lost it at the tap water. a good cautionary tale for buying a house for families that are going to start a life somewhere. check the papers really good, they might just get you on those. glad they went to the media
Well idk about Idaho but I thought house/home inspections were mandated and required prior to the purchase :\ pretty fucked up they put the house on the market though.
@thes1KK they cant... real estate company would make excuses... instead, i would suggest the givernment forcing those greedy bas*ards to live inside the house for a year, drink that water, bathe in it, and do everything there...
these people are just retarded breeders out of touch with nature. they need to live in the city where snakes have already been exterminated and leave the snakes alone. plus they exaggerate "thousands of snakes". if that house is really on the market i'll buy it. i love garter snakes.
@guyglowmore1 yes im sure that living on top of the snake den its everyones idea of an ideal house to leave in. I inderstand u love 4 snakes but u have to uknowledge that not everyone will have so much fun leaving on top of hundreds of snakes. Didnt u watch the clip till the end? it said that snakes breed there. Maybe it was not tousands but hundreds of sneaks. The house is still on the market go for it.. its a great investment if u love so many at one time.
How did they not see anything while they were looking at the place or even while moving in. Goes to show that the piece of shit realtors dont tell you whats important.
I would have tried tying all the captured snakes head to tail in a long line and hooking them up to a car battery. It would be fun to watch the line of snakes wip all over the place as the current went through them. No I'm not psychotic it would be a quick death for the snakes.
@CAP084CDC dude u are cruel! there is no need to kill any living thing! thses snakes need to be captured by animal control officers and safely returned to the wild perhaps 100 miles away so they cant come back to this house, how would u like to be electricuted like that? dude u need some proffessional help. there is no escuse for animal cruelty and abuse!
@dave8594 I love Snakes too but I tell you truthfully if you lived above that many the stink would be overwhelming,my daughter has three snakes and when they defecate the smell is as bad if not worse than human feces as the live raw meat the snakes eat is rank when it relieves itself. Now put thousands doing that and I guarantee you the novelty would wear off very fast.
4:50 You can't drink Clorox. How putting is in your water make senses? This family make it very difficult to have sympathy for them. I hope they are getting paid well to tell their experience.
