Philippe Graffin and his pianist Jelger Blanken will release a cd that will contain all the Pijper sonata's. The Escher sonata, Ton de Leeuw's Sonatine and Voormolen's Pastorale will also be included.

Be sure to look on the site of Onyx Classics, as it will be released before the summer!

Thanks for posting this - it's really beautiful. Reminds me rather of the Ravel Sonate Posthume in musical language. I hadn't come across the composer before and will be curious to hear more of his works.
