@jozsefkacsa carp came into the great lakes in many ways there not native like some suckers and such and trust me you dont want them since thay came in the native fish are few and far between things like lake lake whitefish and lake sturgeon. lake sturgeon where plentiful in the detroit river as that was there spwaning grounds but now thay have to be restocked because of the non native fish taking out there food sorce

Carp actually have a great purpose. Not eating though. If your pond/lake is filling up with moss and weeds, put white amur carp in there with some koi fish. I am not sure what the carp in this video eat. Maybe the same thing?

I never understood why people hate bowfishing so much? I just started bowfishing and while the pole fishermen dont bother me at all, Ive never even thought about whos more macho or shit, they always seem to come up with ways to insult me why I use a bow instead of a pole.
