i agree. most people in the world have heard of Youssou. He has recordings with Neneh Cherry, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel and toured with Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Tracy Chapman. He also won the contemporary world music grammy with his album Egypt. Pape diouf should go somewhere and sit down LOL. FYI am not a senegalese but i love youssou Ndour.

I just can't wait to go see him in concert in Portland, OR. It's gonna be magical for me. I have been listening to Youssou since I can remember (which is a very very long time) and EVERY time he amazes me. His voice is no hypnotic and his beat are so pleasing to the ear, the rhythm are perfect and the dynamic on point! He's simply the best and he's a true ambassador of mi continent! He's like a hero to me, really!
