How much time would you expect to pour into a complete work? With basic paper and materials, it's taking me at least a few hours for modest images; and I'd like to see if digital art can speed up or aid the process in any way.

Any advice on exploring digital art would be appreciated.

I can see that you are very good at drawing, awesome! For the Ken picture, when you said that you had trouble drawing him and ryu because you couldn't get the hips right, i'm not an artist but my suggestion is you just make them a bit wider as you near his hips. I can always remember ryu looking fat because his gi or whatever always sags out a bit.

Anways, i don't know if you are into Tekken, but i'd really like to see you're perspective of Kazuya Mishima.

I liked this video.... But i don't like speed painting videos in general, because most of them never have any real audio it's always just some crappy music and it makes it really boring... If you could make speed painting fun too watch you may have something worth checking out, I think you should draw one of the twins just because SSFA is coming out soon.
