Hmmm... I've noticed a weird bug while fighting Yia- Errr... A certain wyvern. It used a fire breath attack and it made my game crash? Do you know how to fix this? Also, when fighting the hidden boss, it used the Nu- Errr... a certain skill and the battle animation was still on-screen even after the battle. Is that a feature or a bug?
Oh yeah, Pongo's Byun Byun is overpowered as well as some equips.
@Youjuu Yeah, I found both of those and they're fixed in my beta. For the former, he accidentally deleted a fire image. (When it happened to me, I was like, "wait, I didn't do that, did I?") You can fix it by getting the 炎1 picture from an earlier beta.
By the way, do you know anything about a certain "Watanabe parent and child" event? I remember people on niconico saying "Watanabewwwwwwww" or "Watanabeeeeeeeeeee" during certain events in the game.
@Youjuu Koki's apparently made it a goal to have some kind of reference to Watanabe in every chapter (whereas I think LAL just had it in most of them) - Rumia kills a kid's dad, WATANABE systems go offline after their "parent" REI-IJI dies, Watanabe's dad gets turned into a Death Knight, someone off-screen takes damage when you use a full-screen attack against Letty. The one in this chapter is before the final boss.
Come to think of it, I'm not sure where it'll be in Wild West or Fantasy yet...
@Shadow9808 Wait, they're called Velociprey in English? Man, why did I see so many people using "Ranpos," then?! GOOGLEEEEE (But yeah, I'll fix that for the beta, then.)
@vgperson Oh yea, Velociprey are the first monsters in Monster Hunter you fight that openly fight back. Those blue raptors are nowhere near as agresive as their FAR larger leader, the Velocidrome; the Drome, AKA pack leader is noted for being bigger and having a large red crest and long, red claws. They are his leader marks. I thought I'd share that n the event the Drome is in this story arc. If any other Moster Hunter cretures show up and you miss the name, I'll be sure to let ya know.
I'm a bit disappointed that the crow girl wasn't a sexy cavetengu Hatate or Aya (Keeping in line with the original game where Beru was noticeably attractive, more so compared to the kinda comical hero and sidekick)
And it seems Ranged attacks seem better than Melee at this point.
Do you have a plan on combining items? Since in the original, you can get some very nice stuff.
@ReiKusanagi If that disappoints you, prepare to be further disappointed later in the chapter.
In this video, I just combined whatever I had to show it off. Later (it's all recorded already), I do some mixing off-screen to get Ponga the most powerful weapon for the hidden boss. (Naturally, this makes everything after the hidden boss really easy.) That's about it.
But there's also stuff like the Buzzing Knife, a "Ritual Stick," a clip-on tail, and increasingly fuzzy fur armor.
@vgperson I wonder if this chapter's hidden boss has a powerful spamable item as a drop. I don't know what you mean by further disappointment, but I'm just looking forward to goofy stuff.
@snowyarticuno Ran's Wild West is coming after this and is the last normal chapter. Beating all six of the regular ones unlocks Fantasy, which is looking completely nuts, and then after that comes Final, where the chapter protagonists come together for the last battle.
(And then Koki's got that alternate timeline where he starts making Touhou of the Rudra instead... but, uh, that's quite a while off.)

As does expectation of the Fantasy and Final chapters for this game; because in the original L-a-L they were fantastic and jawdropping.
