Pavarotti had the most naturally beautiful voice I've ever heard. But he was no musician. Placido probably cannot sing the high C's of ah mes amis, but what a musician! BTW, I really hate this childish game of "who's the best."

He did not clap at all. In the Beginning he rubbed his hands knowint he was going to play the piano. And sometimes artists clap at the audience to thank them or didn't you know. He is not a vain man.
