Most people nowadays do speak English, but if you can't hear that they have a distinct, french accent, then you can hardly be fluent yourself (smiles). It was obvious to me, at any rate, long before I knew anything about the group. They speak English well, or sing it well, anyway (I have only seen them in french interviews), but the accent is there. Of course, the accent only makes them more endearing; it goes perfectly with their alternative music. Vive Phoenix!
