i just finished this game. Its reallly good but I just like far cry 2 better. I like it cuz its more realistic besides the enemies always coming back and your buddy showing up everywhere.

It is very nice game an the graphics was realy good =) i now that is very difficult to finsh the game in Realistic mode....but i onliy in 19 level got the ground back with patch.

The damage in Far Cry is ridiculous. Health recovery is hard. I still don't know why Jack can't carry health packs... I like Far Cry 2 way better.

Thats the clue. If you can carry health packs, it would be much to easy. It is much more fun, to distract the soldiers and search for an health pack and then kill them all. I played Far Cry 2 and I destroyed a guard post. After I came back, it was there again. Thats just not fun. If I go to my save house, my buddy is sitting there. The first time I thought, WTF!? Every house I go, he is there. And when I wake up, he is still there! No, I dont argee with you. I think Far Cry is better ;)

Yeah, when you kill everyone at a guard post, the guard post should be destroyed forever. Patrols along the road is fine though. But I thought far cry 2 were decent too.

Crysis is very good though.

@Mematox Agreed Far Cry was one of the best shooters ever. Far Cry 2 was made a different team that only had the name because ubisoft wouldn't give up the license. This also accounts for the horrible console version. Crysis is the second game made by the same team. It was good but big mechanical suit with powers is not nearly as cool as being armored in only a bright red Hawaiian shirt lol.

I don't mind the bad voice acting as much as I do the poor dialogue and writing. Games can have bad voice acting and still be saved by a good script.

The things that happen in this game are completely random. Was all the dialogue improvised?

Like right here, he points a gun at Doyle and then he pulls out this "they are watching" plot point which is just ignored and he shoots him, and its never mentioned again.

It's like their actors made it up as they went along.

this game didn't have much of a plot. just random shit happens and you go do said shit as the characters say dialogue that is completely inappropriate to the situation they're in.

I'm glad Crytek learned their lesson with Crysis. At least that game has decent voice acting and dialogue.
