i'm 17 years old and i always thought i was too old to start testing for usfsa! but i guess not :) how long did it take you to get through pre-pre through pre-juv?

@chapstickgurl1 you're not too old! :) I passed pre-pre moves on 11/2007 and passed pre-juv 1/2011, but I took off some time for illness and injuries (and vacations lol) I also took preliminary through pre-silver ice dance tests, so I wasn't entirely focused on MIF. There are no age limits on USFSA tests, but sometimes when you're older (like,not a little kid) judges expect more from you on things like power, filling out the ice,and so on. But if it's something you want to do, you should try it!

@Sk8expectations Great test!! Yes, never too old to start skating! I started at 14 and I'm 18 now getting ready to test my Intermediate MIF! Anyone can do it, I know its hard when you see 7-8 year olds doing axels, but you just gotta stick with it and work towards your goal!
