  • Nice stuff, You know exactly what to collect with vintage.. I'm just a small time collector from Guam.

  • Are you a millionaire? I'd die for one of those cards

  • I need your address so I can come rob you! SOOOOOOO jealous. Museum quality collection in my opinion! Great job.

  • are you a millionaire? how does a young guy like yourself afford these expensive cards?

  • @golfmaniac007 Haha... thanks! Lots of hard work my friend!! And appreciate you calling me young! : )

  • how much did you spend on these?

  • Enjoyed your video. Topps actually produced a set of cards in 1951. They were not really popular with collectors. They came in red and blue backs.

  • Wow, it's great to see all of these cards at once! The grades for all of them are perfect, not too sharp where it'll cost you too much, but still presentable. Way nicer than my collection. As for PSA vs. SGC, I'd say SGC is best for pre-war cards, while PSA is best for post-war. (1947-1980s or so).

  • @chibbz23 Thanks Chibbz... I've seen your videos and your collection is pretty impressive as well!! Do you live in the North East by any chance? Would be great to meet up at a show if you're in the area!

  • can't have a '68 ryan without his teammate - a '67 seaver

  • Where is a good online site that you purchase from? Love your vids I hope to see more soon:-)

  • OHH NVM THATS THE FORM OF THE CARD BUT ITS NOT HONUS WAGNER LOL BUT THOSE CARDS CAN STILL GET U RICH LOL U HAVE THE BEST CARDS EVERRR

  • OMGGGGG R U SERIOUS U HAVE THAT 1800'S HANOUS WAGNER CARD IT WAS ONLY LIKE 3 MADE IN THE WORLD AND U GOT IT U CAN SELL THAT CARD FOR 2.5 MILLION DOLLARS U CAN GET RICH AND THOSE OTHER VINTAGE CARDS U HAVE R WORTH THOUSANDS ALSO I LOOKED THEM UP ONLINE

  • great cards....nice to see a serious collection...an idea for a new video....when i collected some of my old sets (1957 and 1959 Topps), i kept records of cost and location of each purchse...maybe take the viewers through the whole collection process of a set....e.g.the hard to find cards and how you obtained them, cost, special trips to a card show or auction, good deals, bad deals, personal details, reflections, etc....i know that i would watch

  • @DickPoleman Hey there. Thanks for watching and for your video idea. I like it a lot. I have a record of every card I bought for my 1951 bowman set (i posted a video of the set on youtube)... so could do a video showing my spreadsheet, and my process to accumulate the whole set!

  • Why would you spend your money on Cap Anson and Ty Cobb? They were both very racist, and very evil.

  • @ranchy888 Thanks for the info. I was not aware of either. I will have to look into that...

  • UNREAL!

  • Such a beautiful collection man! Thanks so much for sharing! You have quite a few absolutely LEGENDARY cards! Only a select few left in the "must haves" for our hobby that you still need. Do you plan on eventually getting any of the following: 1952 Topps Mantle, 1984 Star Michael Jordan XRC, or the 1996 Topps Chrome Kobe Bryant? Those are three HUGE ones!

  • @BenMoss85 Great post - thanks!! Lets start with the easy one... I have a 96 topps chrome kobe - take a look at my video of my basketball collection... I don't have an 84 star, but think the 86 fleer is pretty solid for MJ. As far as the 52 topps mantle... Just can't get myself to fork over the big bucks for that one. To be honest, think I would rather upgrade my 51 bowman mantle instead of getting a 52 topps... Thanks again for your great post!!

  • you have the best collection ive ever seen its sick

  • Damn that's a head scratcher on the sticker.

This mystery needs to be solved. Got Robert Stack's phone number?

  • so i have a question...y have those vintage cards graded by psa..doesnt sgc make a better looking case?..plus the consensus among those of pre war collectors out there is that sgc is the company to go with for pre war cards

  • @sciontcdude Good points - thanks for mentioning it. I agree that you see more vintage SGC than modern SGC. They DO have a very good reputation for vintage, and I agree that the SGC cases are great looking. I think it's really personal preference, and for whatever reason I tend towards PSA. My 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth is in an SGC holder and I am very happy with it. Anyway, would be curios to hear other people's thoughts in vintage SGC vs. PSA, so please add your thoughts!!

  • @dzolot i had a very good experience customer service wise with sgc i paid 15$ for a single card grade that i had to have done in a rush for an ebay refund, alli needed was a letter faxed to me stating it was counterfeit and instead they sent the whole package back certified 2 day cost 22$ for them to do that ..plus again i just like the black background they give the cards :D and i have to say my favorite card you have would be the allen and ginter cap anson BEAUTIFUL card

  • Absolutely beautiful sample of your collection!

  • Nice cards, but very disappointed that there was no T206 Wagner.

Any update on if that Jordan sticker passed PSA?

  • @dvitoc Thanks man! T206 Wagner is... on its way! haha... I haven't gotten the jordan sticker graded yet, but I did show it to BGC at a card show a few months ago and the guy gave it a quick look and said he thought the card looked real... I'm telling you though, that pack was NOT ligit! No way. too many red flags... Anyway, thanks for checking out my vids!

  • lovely collection

  • Wow, amazing vintage. Hopefully I can get here one day...

  • I just passed out. What a beauteful collection WOW!

Maybe a chronological video showing designs, and/or set nuances.

    Rock on

  • i love this information timeline video! Very very nice cards man.

  • congrats on the great cards must have taken a while to get such quality.

  • @techiscool1 Well, I used to collect when I was a kid (89 - 91 time frame) then stopped for a while. I started up again pretty seriously in 2000 / 2001 and the rest is HISTORY!!! haha...
