i am not hating on this music, but i wished this was sung in english. the singer gives off such an emotional effort that is so good and wish i could sing the lyrics in english to understand how the singer sings. This song might sound really good in english, but thats my preference. A korean market dominated by pop and i found this gem, at least is not really influenced by pop like jrock. For some reason i dont think this is emo rock, but thats just me.

But if you ignore the main reasons, the pop culture of most asian countries collide. And some are even at war, like Kpop vs Jpop. I like Jpop, but it doesn't mean I hate Kpop. I'm sure most of them realize this, so it's only obvious that they attempt to point out, "Hey, ours is better!" Sort of like if one man invents a product, any competition that mimics that product is obviously going to boast that theirs is better. Plus, if there's one thing Koreans really, really like, it's things that are Korean.

I stumbled on this randomly and really liked it. I've never heard of these guys, and usually go for harder stuff, but this was great.

However, I scrolled through the vast amount of comments comparing this to "American music". Why would you even bother? Doing so only exposes the inferiority complex that bands like these (and their fans) could have towards American bands... even more so due to the fact that this is an American sound.

I am not korean but i appreciate good music when i see it and not only expensive good lookin videos. Kpop is financed by mbc which is financed by LG, Samsung etc. so kpop artists get int. recognition while good music like this is left behind. When you sign a certain contract you give up certain 'rights'. Underground/non-mainstream artists have the freedom to do what the hell they want with their music while pop artists need to conform to the label's expectations. That's what makes these dudes better then DBSK... ah btw it's about tastes also.
