@janice0garciaz You have to crack it open and flip the switch behind the screen to "on". It's a setting the factory has installed for developers to allow customization. I recommend hitting it against something really hard to crack it open. That's what i did. It won't crack the device because the material is strong. good luck lol

@KTrinh93 Thanks man, I have an iPhone 3g and there was a comparison of 4.0 and 4.1 and it looks a lot faster on 4.1. I had to downgrade from 4.0 to 3.1.3, it literally took 1 minute to open the settings app.

iPhone 3G issues were definitely fixed, and I had a Bluetooth problem (where other devices didn't see the iPhone when it was discoverable) that seems to be fixed too.

But I think Apple could have done more for a x.1 update... let's hope 4.2 brings something to the iPhone too.

Ping isn't 4.1-specific. It's not stored on the device either, so Apple can update it at will, without having to update your OS each time.

I've got Ping integration on my iTunes and I'm still on iOS 4.0. It appeared on the same day as the keynote without me doing any kind if update so I don't think it's specific to iOS 4.1

that hdr photography makes a huge difference! may just be the biggest reason to upgrade besides the proximity sensor of course.

Wow, a standard-def 40 minute TV show is 1.4GB? Seriously? That's more than most movies I download which are usually 700mb... Apple needs to work on that, not everyone has unlimited bandwidth.

First of all, iPhone is not even offered with unlimited 3G access anymore in the united states and it never was in any other country. Second, I am in Canada and for some reason not a single ISP offers unlimited internet access.

So no I don't have unlimited internet access and no I definitely did not steal my iPhone. I have 3 years of fucking phone bills to prove that, unfortunately.
