Scorponok's 3 forms are way better to me.

scorponok has a great color scheme,and cooler modes.fort max only has one thing good going for him.largest transformer ever made,and that's about it.

i think it was a pretty good example of a character who gets more respect as a toy than a character in a cartoon/comic.

Hmm, I disagree on this one, on the sole reason that in the G1 cartoon, he wasn't a character at all. He had no personality or spark of his own, he is in fact nothing more then the body for his headmaster.

But aye, he really didn't do much and the toy itself is imho, impressive, but otherwise boring in design.
