  • Hi, I know someone who is only 19 years old and has done that on cheeks! He has been a CAKE! so beautiful. y question is Can U buy Restylane urself on Internet and do that urself?

  • Step by step instructions so you can try this at home.

  • brave woman!

  • o.0

  • Boy, this lady is tough! I know how much those injections can hurt, and she didn't even cry...I would have! Wish there'd been a final shot of her, all "cheeky"!

  • Would the filler be injected in the same place even if the patient had quite full, high cheek bones, but hollows in the lower part of the cheeks?

  • @larauc

To be effective the deep filler needs to be between the skin and underlying cheek bone. You would still modify the location and quantity injected to suit each patient according to their facial structures.

  • The poor dear, oh well what us women do to be beutiful...

  • Silent desperation is the English way, I hear. You can see it on this woman's face poor thing.

  • How long does the cheek filling effect last, doctor ?

  • It depends on the filler used, with the thicker fillers, eg teosyal ultimate the effects can last up to 2 years. The thinner fillers are easier to shape and mould, but do not last quite as long. There is something of a trade off.

  • wow she looks like she is really in some serious pain

  • @teaspanic it is painful.

  • why would a doc want to do this? there are people that really need help in the world.

  • ooh you could see the pain in her eyes. i feel so bad

  • I hope I am not too late to pose a question: How dangerous in terms of hitting a nerve or nerve damage is this procedure? What technique is best to eliminate this risk: Injecting retrograde or pushing the product ahead? This is a very interesting and good video and I do not understand the other comments.

Thanks a lot for posting this.

  • I apologise for the late reply. There is almost no risk of nerve damage - compare any injection of filler to that of local anaesthetic. There is a risk of hitting a vessel and causing a bruise.

  • The filler seems to 'burst' from the primary injection site up to the lower tear trough area during the injection (if you drag the player button you can see it happen in fast motion). Is this an anticipated outcome?

  • Very much so. If someone is considering tear trough filler, but has a flat cheek, I always advise filling the cheek first, as this will lift the lower tear trough in particular.

  • Hey i read the news that this person is misleading many people...H e is using identity of yan trokel who is well known for y lift...This is a fake procedure by richard

  • I find these comments very curious. This is a real video demonstrating how I teach others how to perform deep filler injection to the cheek. As explained in previous comments, the term Y lift is widely used in the UK to mean cheek filler. I'm not claiming to be anyone other than myself and this is quite clearly a real procedure. In the UK there are many surgeons doing many variations of this technique.

  • this person is misleading by using Dr yan trokel procedure Y lift.... Dr Yan you are the best..This is fake video

  • Nice technic but... you forgot to wear gloves!

  • hi I was hoping you could tell me where is your practice located at. I am unable to find you in the web

  • hi, dr caesar!of all technics i have seen on you tube,to enhance volume to the cheeks, yours is defenitly the best!no bleeding, just one pinch to each side and minimal or no brusing!am i right to say ,you are useing teosyal deep dermal, because the needle looks so small?(27G)and if so,witch size do you recommending with sub Q?greetings from germany

  • I like Teosyal ultra deep and 27 G needle.

Teosyal ultimate and Sub Q recommend a 21 G but you can use a 23 G with a slow injection and strong thumb. Best Wishes. Ric.

  • This isn't the Y Lift. The Y Lift is a trademarked procedure that is only performed by 1 doctor in New York. What he is showing here is someone getting fillers through injections.

  • In the UK the term Y lift is used as shorthand for a non surgical midface lift with fillers. I'm not sure anyone in the UK is aware this phrase is trademarked. The procedure itself is performed by many cosmetic and aesthetic surgeons.

  • RicCaesar is correct.

In the U.K., they were calling it the Y-Lift long before Dr. Yan Trokel in New York was calling it the Y-Lift.

    Just Google "Y-Lift" and "London".

  • I agree.. That doc is yan trokel.. You tube should stop these faking video......You tube should not let these people enter into you tube. They are misleading common people..
