unfortunately she is performing in the USA. You wouldn't believe the audiences in this country - people go to concerts to talk all the way through. The louder the music, the louder they talk/shout. Same happened at Radiohead concert in San Francisco last weekend. Unfrickinbelievable!

if that's true, that really makes me NOT want to go to gigs in the states. i'm from korea and i just moved here to pennsylvania two months ago and i've noticed how people are ridiculously rude sometimes. not even funny, seriously.

This is true, but not for all venues, cities, or places. Let's avoid absolute statements here. If you go to a jazz or symphony, you won't experience this. If you go to a house concert, people are respectful. Most smaller clubs are quiet. Rock shows, well, it's rock music. People drink at these and get louder. Ahn isn't that genre, but she plays some of those types of clubs which have that atmosphere.
