though it's not the entire original band this song still sounds pretty classic like it always did, Boston is one of the greatest bands of all time, why do you think they made a few albums then cut out, cuz they knew they were the shit, if you know the history of boston they never intended to get famous, awesome band
@matttane You gotta be kidding dude. That's not even their real singer. Brad Delph committed suicide. This guy is new and he sounds like crap. The band is still good though.
@duppydoopy Tom SCHOLZ (at least spell his name correctly) and Brad Delp were the original album members, other than Jim Masdea as a session drummer. Brad died in 2007, so Tom is the only original member left. goto band boston dot com (remove spaces) for the story if you do not believe me
@Whitelitr dude chill out....you obviously got my point even though I spelled his name wrong..and Tom is NOT the only one left...that was my point as well...Sib, Fran and Barry are still around, and if he was playing with them then that would be Boston....you make it sound like all the members are dead except for Tom....good grief...I just think with only one member that it should be called something else....I love the original Boston and Brad Delph was brilliant.......peace.
Great music - great song, but they sure miss Brad Delp and his fantastic voice. I saw a local band do this song and their singer was able to hit the high notes every time. Check out the video for coverupwaltham - if in the Boston area, go see these guys - band is called Coverup. That said, No One can come close to Brad Delp!
No point in elongating the notes, when it has to be fractional in it's reach. If they are to continue, they should do what INXS did - have a competition and audition for a singer. Trust me, there will be one out there like Arnel from Journey. Do the show for charity, and reap the rewards. A new singer - Wow!!
@DoubleVisionandco Are you kidding me ? Are , like 12 years old ? This is LIVE music , if this sounds computerized to you , you have a VERY distorted view of music !

@nothingcomes4free WOW you are smart !!! Well listen "half my age , Dude" The biographies your reading........ I lived them , met them , saw them live , over and over . Yea, This was the singer from Stryper.... Nothing like Brad Delp though, It will Never be the same anymore.... Nothing against Stryper, but He sings Contemporary Christian music better and He should have stayed with Stryper.
Live Vocals ever been the Boston problem, their vocal parts are so hard to sing live, in this video the only real Boston is the Genius Tom Scholz and his rockman sound and tone, we all remember Brad Delp, by the way live he had problems with tuning voice, but it doesn't matter he had the CHARISMA, vocalist here they haven't!:(
Guys, I don't want to be rude, but please, stop this "horrible vocals" shit. Brad Delp was a great singer, but he's not in this world anymore. Naturally Boston had to look for another vocalist. He might not be as good as Brad, but hey, who is? Tommy DeCarlo does his best, and he's ok.
It's sort of sad to see a band try to carry on when the heart and soul of what is was is gone. Boston used to have such a great character about them, now they sound like a decent cover band.
That's okay, man. I just sing for fun. It all started with challenging myself with more and more difficult songs. More than a Feeling sounded like a doozy at first, but I'm past it, now trying to learn I'll Remember You by Skid Row. From one challenge on to the next, and the last song doesn't seem so hard anymore. tbh, my voice might not be high enough to emulate Sebastian Bach(who I saw live with Whitesnake recently, and I sing like Coverdale already), but I'm trying anyway. You never know.
Who in put Mario on stage? I'll bet he even has plumbers' crack. Man, even Meatloaf knows to put on clean shirt and pants. Did he just get back from driving his kart and bonking turtles?
Michael and Tommy would be the first guys to admit that yes, it indeed takes 2 of them to fill Brad's shoes - and I bet they were humbled to get the chance to sing these classic songs. However, the band sounds great, and the vocals are still powerful and just about the best they could do. Have you heard Foreigner witout Lou Graham? Kelly Hansen isn't Graham, but he TOTALLY fits, and sounds awesome - check them out on Youtube.
This sounds awful! I won't give it a thumbs down because I respect the band and love Michael Sweet. But I'm kinda bummed that I'm 46 and can still hit the high notes, but Michael and the heavy set guy can't. And Sweet is known for his high vocal parts in Stryper.
@davidbrucemusicvideo "This sounds aweful?" Are you deaf ? If you can still hit the high notes why aren't you singing for BOSTON ? And Sweet's high parts in Stryper are midrange for Brad Delp , So Sweet is doing quite well , and as for the "heavy set guy" who never sang in a band ....ever ..... I guess he can only aspire to be as good as you , who can still hit the high notes . You are obviously a MUCH better singer than these fellows , so I can't wait to hear YOUR cd collection of songs ...
I'm glad you can't wait to hear my CD collection of songs. I do music full time for a living and CAN hit all the notes Delp does on the albums. And I happen to be friends with Sweet. He's lost his voice, unfortunately. He's a great guy, but he's not doing as well as he used to. My main web site is listed here on my youtube page. Take a listen to my music, if you'd like.
Sorry to interrupt, but I actually can and do hit the album's notes at karaoke bars and parties I've gone to, and I gotta be honest. I feel silly now, knowing my amateur performance sounds more professional than a concert of this legendary band. Why didn't they try to find a better singer?
@Dyno247365 !!!! i TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU DYNO !!! and I believe you 100 % - cuz I don't think you would say it if it weren't true - I'm Steve BTW and I would like you to contact me if your interested in auditioning for the BRAD DELP part (LMAO) of our Tribute Band to BOSTON !! When I say brad delp part( I am referring to the lead singer position ) We have been searching for someone that can match or come very close to matching Brads vocal range - and from what you just said (CONTINUED)

@Limbwalker1000 I was just reading your comments about Brad Delp's vocals. You should check out Mike Masse's cover of Long Time and A Man I'll Never Be on Youtube. Close your eyes and listen, you'll get goosebumps just like 20,000 other viewers already have. I don't know if he'll sing with you guys, but he's the best I've ever heard.
@ondelamb While that may be a decent cover, he sounds nothing like Delp. Check your hearing dude! The guy who sings the main parts here is Micheal Sweet from Stryper, not sure of the other guy but that guy sounds more like Delp than Delp!
omg....That is the dude from Stryper singing!! I have seen them live before at Bike Week in Daytona Beach. Some Cosmo dude was singing and he sucked because he didn't know the words to the songs and had all the lyrics on a stand in front of him. If it wasn't for him, the show would have been awesome.
I've listened to Boston since they first come out and what people dont realize is that their first album was recorded in a basement with synthesizers along with their instruments. Just because they dont sound exactly the same doesnt mean anything. You got to admire the fact that they still go out there and play shows. As far as old members leaving or dying just look at Thin Lizzy orLynyrd Skynyrd, seems like their both doin fine so I dont buy that argument.
Hi, I'm glad you enjoy the concerts, unfortunately I can't release any of the copyrighted video's without written permission from the artist or their management. If you know of a way to accomplish that, then we can probably do something, until then I'm just happy they let me post them at all.(except for meatloaf)
@jamzusa Sad for you , it is still unreal to see them live , it looks like a 2012 tour could be in the making , if you love the music , you would be doing yourself a dis-service by missing a concert . They are absolutely awesome in concert . You can say "sad" , but we know better....just sayin........
@dsanzo It's like a sick Boston version or a sick Boston cover band... So sad great bands go down hill after the original singers leave or pass away...
@dsanzo What's sad is in his day he was like the best guitarist around. Went to college for music and everything.. now look at him and how he plays.. He looks very sick especially the other guy in the back in the middle, like walking skeletons and play and sing sickly... Something is very wrong with that band for sure!
@justcruzzinn lolol The Home Depot guy lol This almost sounds like a cover band... Almost nothing sounds correct or right... Sounds sick! Like the real Boston on downerz.....
Robert Plant rejected a Led Zeppelin tour as he felt his current vocal ability would present them as a poor cover band of themselves.
Sorry but this is exactly what this is here. Without the original singer most bands become poor covers of themselves. There are few exceptions, especially when you have extraordinary and unique singers like Plant, Delp, Fred Turner, Mercury, Ann Wilson, Perry, etc. Still love Boston as much as I did growing up in the 70's but only with Delp's voice.

One of the best rock bands ever. Are they still performing? I've never seen them live and really want to.

@bagcpa
Hi, I'm glad you enjoy the concerts, unfortunately I can't release any of the copyrighted video's without written permission from the artist or their management. If you know of a way to accomplish that, then we can probably do something, until then I'm just happy they let me post them at all.(except for meatloaf)
thank you for watching my videos.

I personally think they just don't sound good anymore. Don't get me wrong I love the song.. But I'll stick with the CD.

Sad to say I wouldn't pay to see them anymore.... Sad
jamzusa 4 months ago
@jamzusa Sad for you , it is still unreal to see them live , it looks like a 2012 tour could be in the making , if you love the music , you would be doing yourself a dis-service by missing a concert . They are absolutely awesome in concert . You can say "sad" , but we know better....just sayin........

@dsanzo It's like a sick Boston version or a sick Boston cover band... So sad great bands go down hill after the original singers leave or pass away...
jamzusa 4 months ago
@dsanzo What's sad is in his day he was like the best guitarist around. Went to college for music and everything.. now look at him and how he plays.. He looks very sick especially the other guy in the back in the middle, like walking skeletons and play and sing sickly... Something is very wrong with that band for sure!
jamzusa 4 months ago
they could lose the stryper singer. the other guy is great!
johnnystyles71 4 months ago
@johnnystyles71 The 'other' guy killed himself if you didn't know.... Yeh, this guy sounds like a detuned Brad Delp... sickly...
jamzusa 4 months ago
his voice is so pure. not the new guy, the guy with the mustache ;{D
ayoooitscorinne 4 months ago
@ayoooitscorinne the guy with the mustache IS the new guy...the home depot worker
justcruzzinn 4 months ago
@justcruzzinn lolol The Home Depot guy lol This almost sounds like a cover band... Almost nothing sounds correct or right... Sounds sick! Like the real Boston on downerz.....

Yuck, not even close to the original band, what are you thinking Tom?

Michael sweet , you have earned my respect !!!!!!!!!!

Its great to see Tom Scholtz still taking the band on the road, but Brad Delp was a one off and can never be replaced. :(
