That doesn't explain how his dead body after I used an AK47 on him.

It is possible to kill him but you have to be quick when he first appears before you at the bottom of the stairs.

This confused me at first when I thought that there were two clones trying to kill 47 in the game during my first play through.

17 wears orange tie and 47 wears a red one. Yes the suit is similar though. Also apart from this 17 appears in one of the cut scenes in Hitman 2 where he is shown strangulating a guard who is guarding a helicopter with a war head. He then calls in some hijacker kind of men by signalling them with his hand and they all fly away in the helicopter.

Well Mr.17 is a clone, but did not possess enhanced strength, He's just like ordinary Human, and was clocked away deep in the asylum, when he ditten fulfill Dr. Ort-Meyer's super clone program. 17 is not a 48 clone. 17 was later freed by Sergei Zavorotko and Mystery Man.

48s are genetically superior to 47, and they are rushed to adult hood. but does not have a free mind like 47 (47 is from the IV series and is a classe 1 clone)

Agent 47 (born September 5, 1964) is the most perfect clone that Ort-Meyer created from the DNA of the four "fathers" aswell as his own -- only problem, this one had his own will and wasn't easily controlled. Therefor, he made a new series, the 48s that appear in the mission "Meet Your Brother", who fit his vision better. Before 47, he had created other clones, e.g. Agent 17, who weren't entirely perfect and therefor discarded. 47 knows of this and refers to them as "lesser hitmen".

i thing that after creating 47 and meanwhile creting 48 clones he would have created 17 more inteligent then the 48 clones so that in case that the 48 clones were killed then 17 would have goted the mission to kill 47 so later after sergei visted the asylum 17 has meeted up whit sergei through sergei friend [i am talking about the guy that appears in the intro game movie and he appears when you have finished the graveyard shift mission}.

Here is my theory.

17 was Ort-Meyer's first sucessful assasin.However,because he was useless,he created 47.And when he created 47,he realised that 47 had a free will,so he created the Mr.48's.

17 was left in the depths of the asylum,and Sergei found him when he searched the facility.

I have been in the room where the bomb explodes, but I had a cheat so I couldn't die! Don't worry about going in there because, all that's in there is a black room where for 4 secs fire spits out at you, then you are stuck in there as when you go to the door you entered from, it is locked!!!

I think 17 is the same type of clone as 47 and may have been made around the same time, but does not possess the qualities and skills that 47 has. He's pretty much the same as an ordinary human because of it. If he was a Mr 48 he'd have a stupid grin on his face.
