The Senate Bill has no public option (they had an alternative, the extension of Medicare to those ages 55+ instead of 65+ but they took that out because Lieberman wouldn't vote and they needed his 60th vote).

The House bill passed the public option though, so now they need to get the house and senate bills and make a compromise (house has public option, senate doesnt). Both also banned federal funding of abortion (sorry ladies but both bilsl are anti-woman).

Wrong. YOu know the Insurance companies wrote this bill right? No public option, Taxes start as early as today for benefits that don't take effect until 2014. Therefore you will still be paying out the ass for your insurance and on top of that, you will be taxed. for 10 years they will only cover you for 6 years.
