Minho's situation kinda reminds me of T.O.P from BigBang. The main rapper who doesnt get to sing as much. That's the way it is with T.O.P, I swear, I have rarely heard him sung. It most likely has to do with the nature of their voice as most comments said. The deep(sexy) voice. Hm, I agree with letting Minho sing a bit more. (Sorry, I can't say a whole lot more because I'm a JongHyun biased fangirl.) I'd love to hear JongHyun rap and Minho sing. LOL~ Let's play role reverse xDD

@MikaYun Taemin rap in Love should go on, they performed that song live too. Taem is label as sub-rapper in the group but he only rap in 1 song so far ..... Minho is label as sub-vocalist but we barely can hear him sing 1 long sentence.. idk what's wrong w/ SM anymore. Jjong rapped once before at the Taiwan fanmeeting, short tho & it sounds funny i hav say, his voice is too high for rapping.

Well, I'm not a MinHo lover. I fell for Key already. But I love every single member of SHINee. JongHyun and Onew sand a lot because their voices really match the songs.

Key and MinHo are good for rap even though Key sings too. MinHo's voice is warm and I think it suits for rapping.

i respect your opinion, but i don't believe that minho is not a good singer. yeah, i may be biased because i love minho so much, but i have heard him sing solos before.. and many people agree that he has a good voice.. i'm not asking you to agree with us, but you may want to check him singing a dedication for someone he loves at sukira. search for it. his voice is very different from the other members.

my problem with their songs is that they considerably do not fit minho's voice. i guess that's why he doesn't get lots of parts. besides that, he is a bass and, generally, basses don't get many singing parts either.

about him singing flat in live perfs? to be honest, even some members of SHINee sound flat at times, but i'm not bashing them. first, they are humans after all and one can't expect perfection in every performance except, of course, if they are pros like the theater people.

second, it is very difficult to sing and dance at the same time. third, they are still young; their vocals have not fully developed yet and they admit that they still get nervous on stage.

lastly, he does need more practice.. of course! even the greatest singers practice every day. SHINee is a talented group and i don't think SM got these kids just because they look all cute and cuddly. don't worry, i won't give you a thumbs down. again, it's your opinion and i respect that.

@pimiimip Minho actually does all of the bass harmonies and backups in SHINee's songs, but because the other members are higher, they cover him up. If you've ever heard a song without it's underlying bass though, you'll know it sounds totally different. So he's just being Minho; a little hidden and then bursts out at the rap parts.
