@ezeeedarling well, because of the lack of advanced tecnology in those years, the animator just could made this animation with rectangles and squares, using touch between them, and overlap to redirect the viewer gaze trought the video.
This is just an intro of a movie, however, the animator, shows his handling of the concept.
